Mid-season water delivery and usage update

As a busy autumn watering period begins, we look back at the season so far.
Our total water delivery to end February is approximately 490 GL compared to 635 GL for the same period last year.

The graph below shows previous season comparisons for crop type. Rice deliveries are similar to 2020/21 and make up about 34% of total deliveries, compared to 45% last year.

Black water prevention releases for DPE’s wetland watering this year equate to approximately 35% of total deliveries, compared with 12% last year and 5% in 2020/21.
