Operational Update

Winter Operations update

Draining in Maintenance Areas continues, with many channels on schedule to be handed over to our Winter Works team in the next week.

Safety during Winter Works

Winter maintenance is critical to the effective functioning of our channel network during the irrigation season.

During the Winter Works period, there will be an increase in heavy machinery activity and vehicle movements across the Murray Irrigation footprint, particularly near channels.

Please be aware of, and comply with, safety signage and adhere to any changed road conditions, especially around bridges and during foggy, wet, or rainy conditions.

And please remember that even if you can’t see our work crews, it doesn’t mean they are not there.

Murray Irrigation is committed to the safety, health and wellbeing of all people involved in our business. This includes members of the community, road users and the landholders where our works are
planned.

Please let us know if you have any concerns, or report any issues, by calling us on 1300 138 265.
