Landholder funded works, outlet upgrade

If you are interested in having landholder funded works completed, such as an outlet upgrade or a stock and domestic pipe installed, please let us know.

All proposed works need to be agreed and finalised no later than 1 April 2023 to be included in the 2023 winter works program.

Spraying, weeds and chemical drums

If you’re experiencing weed issues, please report the problem.

Please do not spray weeds in, or adjacent to • our channels as this may cause a contamination issue downstream.

For the same reason, please do not leave chemical drums on our channel banks.

We will be spraying along channel banks again in the next couple of months.

Once a weed issue is reported and work has been planned, we will call or SMS you to ensure no one is irrigating during that timeframe to avoid causing disruption.

Our Weed Manual can help manage weeds in accordance with applicable standards.

Using the Water Exchange (WEX)

Here are a few tips to help you when using the Water Exchange (WEX):

When buying

Call us if you’re unsure before clicking ‘commit to buy’. NOTE: We cannot undo a purchase, because once you click, a binding contract is in place.
Invoices are sent on the next business day, giving you 3 days to pay.

When selling

If you’ve sold water, we call you to check your details if they’ve not been confirmed within the last year.
Payments are made weekly on Wednesdays, within 10 days of purchaser payment.
Payment invoices with details of sale proceeds paid are sent weekly on Thursdays.
