Member Director Election reminder

Murray Irrigation has received four eligible nominations for two Member Director positions on the company's Board.
 
A Member Director election will be conducted via electronic voting between 1 September and 29 September 2025. 
 
To be eligible to vote, shareholders must have paid all accounts presently due and payable by
 5.00pm next Thursday 28 August 2025. This is a requirement of the Company’s Constitution. 
 
Shareholders who have a formal payment arrangement in place and are meeting the terms of their arrangement as at
 5.00pm Thursday 28 August 2025 will be eligible to vote.
 
If you are unsure if your accounts are up to date, please contact the Customer Experience Team on 1300 138 265.
 
Details on how to vote, together with each candidate statement, will be sent to all shareholders and be made available on the company’s website prior to voting commencing at 9:00am on Monday, 1 September 2025.

Deni business award win

Members of Murray Irrigation's Customer Experience Team, Jayne Crompton and Charlee Pitt, are pictured with Board Director Noel Graham at Friday night's awards ceremony. 

Murray Irrigation was honoured to be presented the Excellence in Customer Service (Large Business) Award at Friday night's Deniliquin Business Chamber Excellence Awards.

Delivering exceptional customer service is a priority for Muray Irrigation, and it is wonderful to see our team recognised for their efforts and ongoing commitment in this regard.

The 450 GL is currently the focus of an independent, public review. 

This is a valuable opportunity for Murray Irrigation to put our position on the record. We do not support, and will not assist with, buy-backs in our footprint.

Latest NSW DCCEEW Water Allocation Statement 

The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) announced on Friday 15 August a 1% increase for NSW Murray General Security water entitlements. 
 
This takes the allocation total for the 2025-26 season to 3%.

Soil Pit- Deniliquin Research Site

Join the Irrigation Farmers Network at its new research trial site in Deniliquin to hear from respected soil scientist Dr Cassandra Schefe, who will be giving practical advice about building soil health, emissions and how to future proof your farming business.

Dr Schefe is passionate about helping farmers improve their productivity while ensuring they are sustainable now and into the future.

Participants will start the day in the soil pit before moving to the classroom (on-site) for discussion.
