Murray Irrigation has received four eligible nominations for two Member Director positions on the company’s Board.
The Member Director election will be conducted via an electronic voting platform between 9:00 am on Monday, 1 September 2025 and 9:00am on Monday, 29 September 2025.
The candidates (whose order was determined by random draw) are:
- Michael Clark
- Brendan Barry
- Phillip Snowden
- Lachlan Marshall
Details on how to vote, together with each candidate statement, will be sent to all shareholders and made available on the company’s website prior to voting commencing at 9:00am on Monday, 1 September 2025.
To be eligible to vote, shareholders must either have paid all accounts presently due and payable, or be a party to a payment arrangement with the company by 5:00pm on Thursday, 28 August 2025.
Murray Irrigation Deputy Chair, Geoff McLeod, is encouraging all shareholders to read the candidate statements provided prior to casting their vote.
“If you have questions for the eligible candidates, I encourage you to call or email them to discuss," Mr McLeod said.
“A stable, well-rounded Board is crucial to building a strong and profitable company, so it is important that all shareholders take the time to consider their decision, and vote for the best interest of the company moving forward.
“I encourage all shareholders to participate and cast their vote this election.”
The two Member Director vacancies arise from the four-year rotation of these positions, as required by the company's Constitution.
The elected member directors will take office immediately after the completion of the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM), and will hold their office until the completion of the 2029 AGM.
