Operational Update

Forward Allocation Product response

Murray Irrigation's Forward Allocation water product, which was launched on 19 January and closed on 20 February, attracted strong customer interest.

A total 170 customers registered for the product, with 48 participating in the bidding process and 23 ultimately securing allocations.

This participation is broadly consistent with the level experienced for the Sustainability Product which ran in August last year, indicating a comparable level of engagement among customers.

The 23 successful bidders were irrigating across a range of crops, including:

  • Winter crop
  • Horticulture
  • Rice
  • Permanent pasture
  • Cotton
  • Summer crop
  • Annual Pasture

Thank you to all our customers who participated.

Please contact Murray Irrigation's Customer Experience team on 1300 138 265 if you have any further enquiries.
