Sustainability Product Round 2 Expressions of Interest - 1 September 2026

Online Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Murray Irrigation’s second round Sustainability Product will open tomorrow, Wednesday 2 September 2026 at 9am.

What is on offer?

79,672ML of water will be available at $210 per ML.
This is the weighted average of water sales on Murray Irrigation's Water Exchange between 26 August 2026 to 1 September 2026.
Due to new provisions of the Water Act 2007 (Cth) implemented from 1 July 2026, Murray Irrigation is no longer able to offer this product to customers at a discounted rate.

When does the EOI close?

Expressions of interest close at 5pm Tuesday 8 September 2026.

How do I apply?

EOIs can be placed online through your customer portal by selecting Sustainability Product in the top menu bar, then following the prompts.
The Sustainability Product is exclusive to Murray Irrigation customers who are within financial terms with the company.
If the offer is oversubscribed, participating customers will be offered a pro rata volume calculated using the total delivery entitlements held across all accounts under the participating customer number.

When do I need to pay for the water?

Murray Irrigation is offering customers three payment options.

1.    Standard 60 day terms, interest free

2.    5 months at 10.35% annual interest (pro-rata 5/12)

3.   9 months at 10.35% annual interest (pro-rata 9/12)

Customers who elect to utilise the 5 or 9 month payment option will undergo a credit check. Upon acceptance of an offer that includes these payment terms, customers will be contacted by the Company to provide an ABN, for Murray Irrigation to complete this credit check. By providing your ABN, you consent to its collection, use and verification for the purposes of assessing and managing your application for commercial credit and related services.
