Shareholder Update - 16 April 2024

As announced on Friday 12 April 2024, Murray Irrigation is calling for nominations from eligible individuals to fill at least two Director vacancies on the company’s Board of Directors.

Nominations are welcome for both Member Director and Non-Member Director roles.

Member Directors must be either shareholders of Murray Irrigation or an authorised representative of a company which is a shareholder of Murray Irrigation.

Non-Member Directors must not be shareholders.

Director Nominee Information Session

A Director Nominee Information Session will be hosted on Friday 19 April from 10.00am until 12.00 noon in the Murray Irrigation board room: 443 Charlotte Street, Deniliquin, or via online link.

The information session will cover:

Roles and responsibilities of a Murray Irrigation director;
Directors’ legal duties; and
General information about Murray Irrigation and the election process.

If you’re interested in attending the session, please RSVP to companysecretary@murrayirrigation.com.au by 4.30pm Thursday 18 April.

If you wish to attend online, please notify us in your RSVP, and details will be provided via return email.

RSVP is essential for attendance to the information session.

Written nominations must be lodged with Murray Irrigation's Returning Officer either in person, via post or email by 5.00pm AEST Friday 26 April 2024. See below for details.

Nominations received after this deadline will not be considered.
