Customer Update - Murray Irrigation response to water carryover media enquiry

Murray Irrigation would like to advise our customers that we have been approached by a journalist from Bloomberg News seeking information on carryover water during the drought years.

We understand the media organisation is planning to publish a series of articles in relation to the Murray-Darling Basin.

The information we have been requested to provide specifically relates to carryover volumes during the 2018 -2019 and 2019 -2020 years.
 
Murray Irrigation has sought to deal with their questions in a meaningful and prompt manner. We are sharing the response we have provided to Bloomberg News with our customers prior to its publication to ensure there is complete transparency around the correspondence.
