WaterWell product announcement - Sustainability Product
As announced earlier this afternoon, Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Murray Irrigation’s Sustainability Product open tomorrow, Wednesday 6 August 2025, at 9.00am.
80GL of water is available at $190 per megalitre under this EOI - which closes at 5.00pm on Wednesday 13 August 2025.

2025-26 Season Operations
Murray Irrigation's 2025-26 Season Operating Plan is now available on our website
(and also below). This plan explains the Modes of Operation and how the water delivery year operates.
Regular Operations will commence in Mode 2 – Dry. This mode enables water savings and efficient operation of the system whilst providing moderate flexibility to customers with up to four days' order notification required.
To understand the service levels provided to customers, the Season Operating Plan should be read in conjunction with Murray Irrigation's Customer Service Charter
(also below).

Member Director candidates announced
As announced in yesterday's (Monday 4 August) Shareholder Update, Murray Irrigation has received four eligible nominations for two Member Director positions on the company’s Board.
The Member Director election will be conducted via an electronic voting platform between 9:00am on Monday, 1 September 2025 and 9:00am on Monday, 29 September 2025.
The candidates (whose order was determined by random draw) are:
- Michael Clark
- Brendan Barry
- Phillip Snowden
- Lachlan Marshall
Details on how to vote, together with each candidate statement, will be sent to all shareholders and made available on the company’s website prior to voting commencing at 9:00am on Monday, 1 September 2025.
To be eligible to vote, shareholders must either have paid all accounts presently due and payable, or be a party to a payment arrangement with the company by 5:00pm on Thursday, 28 August 2025.

NSW DCCEEW water allocation announcement
The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) announced on Friday 1 August a 1% increase for NSW Murray General Security water entitlements.
This takes the allocation total for the 2025-26 season to 2%.

Grower's Voice and Carbon Chat Tour
Cotton Australia and the Cotton Research and Development Corporation (CRDC) are heading to Blighty as part of their tour to seek feedback from growers and industry on a number of topics that together will shape the industry’s future.
When: Thursday 21 August

Time: 9.00am - 12.00pm (lunch and drinks will follow)
The session will include short updates on key areas of work happening across the industry, followed by feedback sessions on each topic where growers can have their say:

- Allan Williams, CRDC Executive Director – an update on the current myBMP review and what it means for growers
- Brooke Summers, Cotton to Market (Cotton Australia) – why Human Rights are important, and what we’re doing about social compliance

Participants will also have the chance to take part in a practical carbon workshop led by CottonInfo’s Carbon Technical Lead, Jon Welsh, which will cover:

- What CRDC is doing to close the knowledge gap
- Real opportunities to make climate-smart farming work on your farm.
AgriWomen Connect: Soil, Stock and Sustainability - Conargo
Are you a woman in ag passionate about the future of farming?
Local Land Services' latest AgriWomen Connect workshop is focused on on sustainable farming practices, innovative technologies, and the latest agricultural research.
