WaterWell Announcement
As communicated with customers last week, Murray Irrigation’s Board of Directors approved the company’s 2025/26 Resource Management Strategy at last Thursday's Board meeting.
The Resource Management Strategy outlines how Murray Irrigation will distribute water to customers through our suite of WaterWell products over the 2025/26 season.

May Board meeting update
Murray Irrigation held its latest Board meeting last Thursday 29 May.
Directors made key decisions on a number of company matters during this meeting, including:
- 2026 budget
- Fees and prices
- Resource Management Strategy
- 'Water Solutions' pilot.

Murray Irrigation sponsorship applications open

Applications for Murray Irrigation's 2025 sponsorship program have opened this week.
This annual grants initiative supports a broad range of projects and activities that promote participation, safety and wellbeing within the region.
This year we've expanded the program to include an education funding stream for local school learning and development projects. You can read more about the new education grants in our media release here.
If you know of a local school or community group who might be seeking funds to get a project off the ground, please point them in our direction.
Applications close on Sunday 29 June.

Murray LLS is hosting a free farm business management webinar, 'Let’s talk all things strategic and tactical planning, and risk analysis', this Thursday 5 June.
Join Jess Paton from Agrista as she unpacks cost of production, how to turn numbers into better decisions, and why getting your management system right - beyond tax - is key to profit and planning.
The webinar runs from 1:30pm to 3:00pm.

Community News
Sustainable Communities Program survey
The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is seeking input from Basin communities regarding the design and delivery of the $160 million NSW Sustainable Communities Program, which is being implemented under the Australian Government's Restoring Our Rivers Framework as part of the Murray-Darling Basin Plan.
As part of the consultation process, the Department is conducting a survey to help identify priorities and the types of investments needed to minimise the socio-economic impacts of water recovery on Basin communities.
You can take part by completing the survey by 5.00pm Friday 13 June.
