October Board Meeting update
Murray Irrigation's Board held its latest Board meeting last Wednesday 23 October.
The agenda items included the company's upcoming Annual General Meeting, updates from various Board committees and feedback from September’s Shareholder discussion groups.

Resilient Landscapes Grants Program
Applications are now open for the Resilient Landscapes Grants Program.
The program funds projects that focus on achieving and measuring transformational change and impact at landscape scale, identify tipping points or thresholds, and demonstrate practices, technologies or approaches to improve management of natural capital and enable farmers to be prepared for, and have the capacity and diversity of options to respond to, drought.
- $40 million is available through an open competitive grant process.
- Grant funding is available for applicants that have formed a consortium.
- Individual projects must be valued between $2 million up to $6 million and undertaken from 2025 until 2030.
Applications close on 19 November at 9.00pm (AEDT).

Riverine Plains Ladies Luncheon - Save the date
Riverine Plains is hosting its annual Ladies Luncheon on Saturday 15 February, 2025, at the picturesque St Leonard’s Vineyard in Wahgunyah.
The luncheon will feature two inspiring leaders in agribusiness: award-winning entrepreneur Ros Vodusek from Rich Glen, and Jacquie Koschitzke, who is a local farmer and founder of health food business, Meraki.
Understanding Farm Carbon Workshop - Barooga
Murray Dairy is hosting a workshop to enable better understanding of greenhouse gas emissions (or the carbon number) on dairy farms.
Workshop outcomes include gaining a solid understanding of the drivers of greenhouse gas emissions, industry emissions reduction targets and exploring practical steps for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
