Operational Update

Outlet operating times

Outlets start, finish, and change within 30 minutes of the standard operating time.

The control system moves regulators to add or remove water in your pool at the same time as outlets open, close or change, to keep the water levels steady and ensure all customers get their orders.

The control system outlet and channel execution process is shown in the diagram below:

If your outlet has not operated after 30 minutes please contact us.

The standard operating time and its Operational Area for each of your outlet/s are listed on the My Outlets page of your Customer Portal.

Order cut off time for starts, changes and finishes

Order starts, changes or finishes need to be placed before 6:30am or 6:30pm for the order to be activated in the next execution time.

The order notice period in Normal Mode 3 (our current Mode) is notice of up to one day.

Our
Season Operating Plan sets the parameters for each Mode of Operation, including level of service, order notice period and channel levels.

Summer irrigation intentions

With full allocation early in the season, we're expecting another busy year.

Over the last month, we have been contacting customers in known areas affected by restrictions in big delivery years to prepare for the high demand.

Murray Irrigation completes Irrigation Intentions surveys several times throughout the year.

These surveys provide critical operational intelligence, enabling us to effectively and efficiently operate the channel system and identify any potential hot spots throughout the system.

If your channel is identified as a potential demand hotspot, we will contact you to discuss possible impacts on your orders.

Read our Restrictions and Flow Shares Fact Sheet for more information.

If you believe there may be demand issues on your channel and you haven’t been contacted yet, please call us on 1300 138 265 or email us to let us know your summer irrigation intentions: customersupport@murrayirrigation.com.au
