Operational Update
Supplementary access
WaterNSW announced access to supplementary water delivery on Friday 6 October.
Customers have been notified of this via SMS, with all deliveries after 7.00am on Saturday 7 October being supplementary water, until 11.00am on Friday 13 October, unless extended.
Please note that normal water delivery charges apply. Place, change or finish your orders online now via the Customer Portal.
Supplementary events are either called by the MDBA or WaterNSW in line with rules contained in the Water Sharing Plan, which describes how supplementary events are managed. Murray Irrigation does not determine supplementary events.
Customers will continue to be notified via SMS of any changes in access to supplementary deliveries.
Drainage discharge approval reminder
Customers are reminded that they need to apply for approval to discharge any water into the drainage system.
This can be done by filling out an Application to Discharge form and emailing it to customersupport@murrayirrigation.com.au. Once you have submitted your application form, you can expect a call back within a couple of hours to let you know the result.
Last week's significant rain event prompted Murray Irrigation to announce a minor flooding event. An Operational Update regarding this event was distributed to customers last Friday. You can read a copy on our website.

With the 'Environmental management guidelines for the dairy industry' (2008) currently under review, the NSW Department of Primary Industries (NSW DPI) is hosting workshops in a number of regions across the state to seek valuable insight from dairy farmers and other stakeholders involved in planning, assessing, implementing and operating new or upgraded dairy developments in NSW.
These informal workshops will allow all stakeholders to share their experiences and ideas.
The Riverina workshop will be held at Finley RSL on 1 November. The session will run from 9.45am to 12pm, and will be followed by lunch.
If you are unable to attend, there will be an online session on 14 November.
