Sustainability Product - Update - 12 August 2026

Murray Irrigation’s Sustainability Product Expressions of Interest (EOI) closes tomorrow, Thursday 13 August at 5.00pm.

If the offer is undersubscribed, Murray Irrigation will offer a second round of Sustainability Product commencing before the end of September via the same EOI process. Further details on the EOI dates, volume and price will be released via Customer Update upon the completion of the first round processes.

Upon closure of the first round EOI, participating customers will receive an offer via the Customer Portal. Customers will have the opportunity to accept or reject this offer via the Customer Portal between Friday 14 August and Thursday 20 August.

The volume of water on offer for the second round of Sustainability Product will be made up of the remaining water from the first round.

If the second round EOI is undersubscribed on completion, the water remaining beyond the customer acceptance will be taken to a public auction. Further details on the public auction process will be provided upon the completion of the second round if required.

In the event the public auction does not exhaust the remainder of the 80GL allocated to the Sustainability Product for this season, the remaining water will form part of Water Solutions' broader water sales throughout the season.

The decision to offer a second round of Sustainability Product if the first round is undersubscribed has been made due to the changes in water market conditions since the Sustainability Product was announced on 5 August 2026.

Due to new provisions of the Water Act 2007 (Cth) implemented from 1 July 2026, Murray Irrigation is no longer able to offer the Sustainability Product to customers at a discounted rate.
