Shareholder Update - Murray Irrigation Member Director ballot opens next week

Voting for Murray Irrigation's 2023 Member Director election opens next Monday 4 September. 

The company is conducting the ballot electronically, using our independent third- party provider, Vero Voting. 
 
The election period opens at 9.00am AEST Monday 4 September 2023 and closes at 9.00am AEDT Monday 2 October 2023.
 
To be eligible to vote, shareholders must have paid all accounts presently due and payable by 5.00pm AEST this Thursday 31 August 2023. This is a requirement of the company’s Constitution. 

If you are unsure if your accounts are up to date, please contact Customer Operations via 1300 138 265. 

Five candidates are contesting three available Member Director positions on the company’s Board in this year's election. These three vacancies arise from the four-year rotation of these positions, as required by the company's Constitution.
 
The five candidates (whose order have been determined by random order) are as follows:

• Brendan Barry
• Ryan Gleeson
• Troy Mauger
• Noel Baxter
• Steven Fawns

The successful candidates will take office immediately after the completion of Murray Irrigation's 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM), and will hold office until the completion of the 2027 AGM.

Vero Voting has posted voting details to individual shareholders (via a NSW mailing house) this week. Customised letters include a unique URL link for Murray Irrigation’s 2023 Member Director Election and for each vote a seven-digit username and four-digit pin (password).

Vero has also produced a ‘How to vote’ instruction guide which will soon be available on our website and via the voting portal.

If you do not receive voting details by the end of next week, please contact Vero Voting on T: 1300 702 898 (between 11.00am and 7.00pm AEST). If calling outside of these hours, you will be able to leave a message with your contact number and a Vero Voting representative will return your call.
