Shareholder Update - Murray Irrigation announces Chair of the Board

Murray Irrigation would like to congratulate Phillip Snowden on his appointment as Chair of the Murray Irrigation Board, as voted by fellow Directors at yesterday afternoon’s Board meeting.
 
Mr Snowden, a Shareholder Director, was appointed to the Murray Irrigation Board on 28 November 2017 and previously held the Chair position from 2017 to 2021.
 
He said it is an honour to be in the role again and that he looks forward to continuing the great work undertaken by his predecessor, Noel Baxter.
 
During the Board meeting proceedings, Lachlan Marshall, Shareholder Director, was also re-elected as Deputy Chair of the Board.
 
Mr Marshall was elected to the Murray Irrigation Board on 28 October 2021, and has held the Deputy Chair position since 30 June 2022. 
 
Members of the Murray Irrigation Board comprise five Shareholder Directors, Phillip Snowden, Lachlan Marshall, Steven Fawns, Brendan Barry and Troy Mauger, as well as two Independent Directors, Robert Burbury and Trisha Gorman.
 
The company would like to thank outgoing Directors Noel Baxter and Ryan Gleeson for their service to the company and its shareholders over the past five years.
