Shareholder discussion groups 2024
The Murray Irrigation Board undertook a round of Shareholder discussion groups from the 16th to the 27th of September 2024 to understand shareholder sentiment around the government’s intent to undertake further water buybacks in the Murray Irrigation footprint.
The purpose of these discussions was to gather constructive shareholder input on how we can work together to minimise the impact of buybacks on Murray Irrigation, customers and the local community.
Upon the conclusion of these meetings, Murray Irrigation developed and released a sentiment sentiment report.

Discussion group schedule
A number of meetings were held across the footprint between 18 - 27 September 2024 to gather constructive shareholder input on how we can work together to minimise the impact of buybacks on Murray Irrigation, customers and the local community.
Based on the majority of responses from the registration of interest requesting small groups meetings, these meetings were hosted by shareholders at their properties, with key management personnel and Board members attending.
