Further engagement opportunities
Over the last couple of weeks, Murray Irrigation (Company) has begun to receive some increased enquiry around the new fee structure, which is being implemented from 1 July 2026.
We acknowledge a change of this scale can be unsettling, and would like to thank customers and industry groups for engaging with us and sharing your feedback and concerns around this new structure.
Much of this feedback has been centred around concerns regarding the financial stability of the Company once the fixed Delivery Entitlement (DE) fee is removed.
In this regard we would like to reassure customers that, as outlined in the
Board update released on 1 May 2026, Directors considered extensive independent expert advice and thorough multi-year budgeting based on a variety of scenarios before making its decision to implement this new fee structure. This included a thorough review of risks raised both internally and through the customer engagement process.
The Board is confident with the path it is taking and that the Company has considered and will be able to manage any risk raised.

With the implementation of the new fee structure fast approaching, the Company is offering customers a number of further engagement opportunities to help clarify any confusion and address any concerns you may be experiencing, including:
Online Q&A
The Company will be hosting an online question and answer session at 2.00pm on Wednesday 24 June. Details of how to attend this will be shared in the coming week. During this session, Company CEO Ron McCalman will address the common concerns we have been hearing over the last couple of weeks and seek to answer any further questions customers may have.
Shareholder Lunch
As previously communicated in Talking Water, the Board is hosting a shareholder lunch on Thursday 25 June from 1.00pm at our Finley office. While this is an informal setting, it will provide shareholders an opportunity to speak face-to-face with the Directors and gain a better understanding on their decision to implement this new fee structure from 1 July 2026.
