All about your MIL Finance account
Q2 (December) Invoices are due
Payment for the December quarter (Q2) invoice is due on or before 29 February 2024.
Account statements are sent monthly and reflect activity on your account.
When is my invoice due?
Invoices are due 60 days after the end of each quarter:
- Q1 September – due end of November
- Q2 December – due end of February
- Q3 March – due end of May
- Q4 June – due end of August
Having trouble paying?
Please get in touch if you have an issue paying your invoice by the due date.
We want to understand what is happening in your business and discuss potential options.
Our aim is to enter into a mutually agreed payment arrangement to bring you back into financial terms, so you can continue to:
- Order and transfer water
- Vote in elections and at AGMs
- Access WaterWell product releases.
What is a payment arrangement?
A payment arrangement is a formal agreement between a customer and Murray Irrigation. It sets out instalment payments and the timeframe for the outstanding amount to be paid, allowing for interest and future invoice charges.

Business News
Business Development at Murray Irrigation
Did you know Murray Irrigation has a dedicated Business Development team?
The Business Development team plays a crucial role in identifying and addressing challenges that affect Murray Irrigation’s sustainability. Through analysis and strategic planning, this team assesses operational and customer needs, enabling the business to adapt and innovate services effectively.
Two examples of current projects that have been identified include:
- Restoring Murray Waterways Project
- Identified through Murray Irrigation's underutilised water delivery capacity, this potential SDLAM project has been funded by the Commonwealth government to facilitate environmental water delivery to creeks and wetlands in the Murray Irrigation area.
- ICT modernisation
- Identified through operational performance analysis, customer and staff feedback, Murray Irrigation is in the process of identifying priority needs and planning for an ICT transformation that will bring Murray Irrigation’s technology into the 21st century and align with best practice standards for the Irrigation industry. This will involve implementing the latest technology and streamlining our systems and processes to boost productivity and customer satisfaction.
Over the coming weeks, members of the Murray Irrigation team will be providing updates on how these areas of business development will result in tangible and positive initiatives for customers.
Stay tuned.
