July Shareholder Meetings

Murray Irrigation is now halfway through our July Shareholder Meetings, with six more sessions planned for the next two weeks. 

To ensure all shareholders have the opportunity to participate, we have also added an online session to the meeting schedule. RSVP and login details for this session will be distributed shortly.   

We've had a positive response to these meetings to date, and extend our thanks to shareholders who have participated so far for their great questions and constructive discussion.

Fees and prices update

As communicated in last Thursday's Customer Update (Thursday 3 July), Murray Irrigation has revised our 2025-25 Schedule of Charges to reflect the relevant government pass through charges.

Murray Irrigation fees and prices

Apply to remove Deemed Usage

If you are not planning to use your Stock & Domestic pipe outlet this season, you can apply to reverse the 2 ML of usage. Click on the button below to download an application form. 

The fee is $74.27 per pipe and applications are due by 5.00pm on Friday 26 September 2025. 

Please note that Murray Irrigation conducts an audit during the season to confirm the pipe is not used.

Member Director nominations now open 

A reminder that nominations for two Member Director vacancies on Murray Irrigation's Board of Directors are now open.

Candidates have until 5.00pm on Tuesday 29 July 2025 to submit their nomination.

Eligible nominees must be either shareholders (Members) of Murray Irrigation or an authorised representative of a company which is a member of Murray Irrigation. 

The Candidate Nomination Form, together with additional information regarding the requirements for prospective nominees and information relating to the roles and responsibilities of Directors, can be found on Murray Irrigation's website below.

ICT Transformation Project update

As previously communicated in Talking Water, Murray Irrigation is currently modernising our IT system to better serve the needs of both the company and our customers. 
 
This exciting and complex work is being undertaken by our ICT Transformation Project Team, who is making steady progress on this significant company initiative.
 
In this regard, we are pleased to advise there will be an opportunity shortly for customers to provide input and feedback on the design and functionality of the new customer portal.

30 years of Murray Irrigation feature

This year Murray Irrigation is celebrating 30 years since the company was privatised from a government owned entity.

First Aid For Rural Properties workshops

Learn essential first aid skills specific to rural properties at this hands-on two-day workshop delivered by Rural and Remote First Aid.

Participate in either a two-day First Aid Course or refresh your CPR with a CPR only course (3 hours).

These sessions are being delivered at the following two locations across the Riverine Plains catchment.
