Operational Update
2025 End of season trading - Key dates
- Monday 23 June, 5.00pm - Water Exchange (WEX) – NOW CLOSED.
- Tuesday 24 June, 5.00pm - External transfers to / from Murray Irrigation close.
- Wednesday 25 June, 5.00pm - Internal transfers to / from Murray Irrigation landholdings close.
- Wednesday 25 June, 5.00pm - Customer Portal access closes.
- Tuesday 1 July, 7.00am - Water Exchange (WEX) and Customer Portal re-open.
Barmah Choke Trade - 1 July 2025
Murray Irrigation will accept applications on WaterNSW Barmah Choke trade forms from 9.00am Tuesday 1 July to 12.00 noon Wednesday 2 July 2025, to enable processing and submission to WaterNSW.
WaterNSW advises it will be accepting Barmah Choke trade applications during a submission window from 7.00am to 2.00pm Wednesday 2 July 2025.
Eligible applications submitted for the Barmah Choke trade opportunity will be processed by WaterNSW from Thursday 3 July, as per the new protocol.

Member Director nominees info session - RSVPs due this Friday
As communicated in last Friday's Shareholder Update, the nomination period for eligible shareholders interested in seeking election for two upcoming Member Director vacancies on the Murray Irrigation Board opens next Tuesday 1 July 2025.
To assist potential Member Director nominees understand what the process involves, Murray Irrigation is hosting an information session next Monday 30 June 2025 from 10.00am to 12.00pm.
Participants are invited to attend either in person or online.
The session will cover:
- The roles and responsibilities of a Director
- Governance, compliance and key legislation
- Murray Irrigation Board information
- The election nomination process.
RSVPs are essential and can be sent to companysecretary@murrayirrigation.com.au by no later than 3.00pm this Friday 27 June 2025.

Applications for Murray Irrigation's 2025 Community and Education Sponsorship Programs close this Sunday 29 June.
So if you know of a local school or community group who may be looking for funding to get their project off the ground, please share this information with them.

The West Berriquin Landholders Association is hosting its Annual General Meeting next Tuesday 1 July.
Member for Murray, Helen Dalton, will be guest speaker.
The meeting will be held at the Deni Ute Muster HQ, Conargo Road, commencing at 6.00pm.
GRDC online Farm Business Update - Financial Management 101
Join Rupert Cuming of Planfarm Advisory online this Thursday 26 June for GRDC's latest Farm Business Update, Financial Management 101.
This session is for those who are starting out in management, or looking to gain additional insights on industry benchmarks to set their own performance parameters.
Rupert will draw on 13 years' experience in the finance industry to highlight the key decision areas that drive profit. He will also outline how to maintain a line of sight to break even and provide tips to simple budget processes that can be updated as the season evolves.
