All about your Finance Account with Murray Irrigation


Q2 (December) invoices due


Payment for the December quarter (Q2) invoice is due on or before 1 March 2023. Account statements are sent monthly and reflect activity on your account.


When is my invoice due?

Invoices are due 60 days after the end of each quarter:


  • Q1 September – due end of November
  • Q2 December – due end of February
  • Q3 March – due end of May
  • Q4 June – due end of August

We want to understand what is happening in your business and discuss potential options.

Our aim is to enter into a mutually agreed payment arrangement to bring you back into financial terms, so you can continue to:

  1. order and transfer water,
  2. vote in elections and at AGMs, and
  3. access WaterWell product releases.


What is a payment arrangement?


A formal agreement between a customer and Murray Irrigation. It sets out instalment payments and the timeframe for the outstanding amount to be paid, allowing for interest and future invoice charges.


What if I'm out of financial terms?


At 60 days, the Debt Management process is activated as your account is overdue.
We will contact you to discuss the situation, and options for payment.


At 90 days, if there is no payment arrangement in place or its terms are not being met, the account is placed on stop supply (you are blocked from ordering and transferring water) and interest is applied.


At 120 days, if a customer does not have an approved payment arrangement, the account is forwarded to a Debt Collection Agency, a separate entity external to MIL.


Use your customer number as reference


If paying by direct deposit, credit, or debit card, please reference your 7-digit customer number with your payment.

Your customer number is on the top right of all invoices and statements.



This enables us to match your payment to your account and reduces the risk of interest charges being applied to your account.
