Snowy Advance Update

Murray Irrigation has received a large number of inquiries regarding the commercial arrangement they have entered into with Snowy Hydro to make up to 200GL of water available as an advance to Murray Irrigation shareholders and invited corporate partners.

Murray Irrigation would like to clarify that the NSW Government is not acting on behalf of, nor posturing for, the Company with regard to the deal which is contingent on receiving regulatory approvals from multiple parties and jurisdictions.

The NSW Government and Department of Primary Industries are following the normal decision making process with other jurisdictions.

Murray Irrigation and Snowy Hydro are providing the NSW Department of Primary Industries full access to the details of the proposal to ensure due process can be followed.
