Murray Irrigation partners with local clothing supplier

Murray Irrigation will partner with local supplier, Diggers Clothing Co., to supply uniforms for office based staff.

The company will partner with local supplier, Diggers, to roll out a new uniform for office based employees. Diggers will supply key garments for the new style, and will manage all corporate branding requirements. Murray Irrigation Executive Manager Human Resources, Suni Campbell, said securing a local partnership was important for the company. “We’re thrilled to work with a local supplier.

Murray Irrigation will always support local businesses where possible,” Ms Campbell said. Murray Irrigation sought quotes from a number of local and national suppliers, before partnering with Diggers Clothing Co. “Diggers demonstrated exceptional customer service and provided Murray Irrigation a variety of options to best meet the needs of our employees,” Said Ms Campbell. “The new uniform will be in line with the agribusiness nature of our business and will ensure Murray Irrigation staff portray a consistent image across the region.”

In an effort to ‘upcycle’, Ms Campbell said the company will be collecting any unwanted older uniforms from employees. These items will then be donated to charitable organisation that provides clothing to those in need. Diggers Clothing Co. owner, Jane Mildren, said they were thrilled to partner with Murray Irrigation.

“This really is all about local businesses working together,” said Ms Mildren. “We are looking forward to a successful partnership with Diggers Deniliquin.” Ms Campbell said. The new uniform will be implemented in early October.
