Constitutional change survey now online

Murray Irrigation shareholders unable to attend company meetings this week can now access an online version of the presentation and feedback survey.

The survey, which closes at noon Monday 19 February, addresses proposals for constitutional change being considered by the interim board.

Murray Irrigation chairman Phil Snowden said the online survey was aimed at capturing feedback from the large number of shareholders who were unable to attend one of the nine regional meetings.

“We appreciate that not every shareholder can spare the time to attend a face-to-face meeting,” he said.

“But we want to hear from everyone and that’s why we’ve launched an online version of the presentation and survey.

“The survey contains detailed information about the proposed changes. “It’s only 18 short questions, so it shouldn’t take long to complete.”

The constitutional changes under consideration are being put informally to shareholders prior to their presentation at an Extraordinary General Meeting planned for next month.

“The constitutional changes are primarily aimed at the structure of the board and they’re considered critical as the company prepares for director elections in May,” Mr Snowden said.
